In 8 hours we will cover most of what anybody have heard about NYC! We will even do a lunch break in the middle, up to 1 hour (it won’t go towards the time of the tour) to recover and have strength for the second part. We have enough time to explore most of the famous sights in Manhattan and a little bit of Brooklyn, including Brooklyn Bridge, World Trade Center, Financial District, Central Park, the Library, Rockefeller Center but also we will go uptown and drive through Morningside Heights and Harlem, see the largest cathedral in the United States, Grant’s Tomb, Columbia University; we may go up an observation deck (I recommend Top of the Rock but we have 5 in Manhattan to choose from), and even visit Statue of Liberty by ferry in the end of the tour (tickets are extra).

The whole city will lay before you. You may not be a New York scholar after this but you will have seen more than an average New Yorker. My stories will help you understand the city and extra time in this 8 hour tour will allow us to see it from different angles, even from the water.

The 8 hour tour (+lunch break) price is $1950.

Capacity – 5 guests max, or 4 with extra comfort. We have children seats and a booster. The car is a Chrysler Pacifica 2020 minivan with panoramic sunroof and another glass panel over the back row. Perfect for car tours of the city!

This is a full day tour. The car and a driver are with us all the time so we pick you up in the morning and take you back in the end. Having a driver is important in Manhattan, without them we wouldn’t be able to go out of the car much and this arrangement also saves time. For this duration the most cost effective way to see NYC is a 4+4 ($1750) tour which is 4 hours tour by car-> then the driver goes home with the car -> we have lunch (30-60 minutes) -> we walk through the Financial District and maybe go up the World Trade Center’s observation deck and visit Statue of Liberty (so it’s a 4 hours walking tour after lunch) -> after we finish I will help you find your way home by uber/taxi or subway. All tickets are extra.

Among other sights we will cover: Times Square, Dakota building, Lincoln Center, Fifth avenue, Flatiron building, SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Civic Center, UN complex, Madison Square, Fifth avenue, 42nd street, the Battery, Metropolitan Museum, the Guggenheim, American Natural History Museum. Most ot these sights we see from the car but we will go out and walk around a little at: Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, Brooklyn Bridge, Financial District, 9/11 memorial.

I have never appreciated history before I moved to New York in 2010. Maybe it was an immigrant thing – to study up on the new city and country – but it quickly fascinated me. Now 4 shelves of USA and New York history books and 10 years guiding experience behind me I more than ever want to share the stories I learned.
